Welcome graphic

Kokomo Piecemakers Quilt Guild welcomes all persons interested in quilting--quilters or nonquilters. The highlight of many meetings is seeing members display the quilts they have designed and quilted.  It is a good learning experience for beginners to advanced quilters.  You are not required to attend all meetings--come when you can.   You are not pressured to quilt a quilt.  Just come and have fun and enjoy the world of quilting.  We have speakers at some meetings, activities such as making quilting cards at other meetings and a pitch-in and garage sale at our July meeting.  Come and enjoy!

Carole is a quilter and quilt historian.  She has combined her talent of needle artistry, eye for color and design, and history to create prize-winning quilts, featured in leading magazines.  As an experienced public speaker, her programs are entertaining and informative, often including antique quilts from her colleciton.

Becoming a Member

You may attend a meeting without paying dues until the third time you attend. This gives you an opportunity to see what is involved. If you wish to become a member, the dues are $20 for the year. This helps defray the cost of speakers, printing costs, meeting place cost and miscellaneous expenses.

If you are new and join after July, dues are $10 for new members.  Previous members who join any time during the year still must pay the $20.

At the November meeting we amended the ByLaws and we now welcome Junior members (between the ages of nine and sixteen).  Remember, Jr. members must be sponsored by a Quilt Guild member and are expected to behave as adults but we hope to see some your members who hopefully will carry on the quilting tradition.
