The BOM chairman is Debbie Smith.

For 2008, members are required to pay $1 for the first pattern and are given a new pattern each month as long as the previous month's block is brought to the meeting and finished.  If you have questions or wish to "get caught up", please contact Debbie and she will send you the pattern.  If you missed the January meeting, bring $1 and get your patterns.  At the end of the year you will have 12 12-inch blocks so you will basically have a quilt and there will be a workshop possibly in January to finish the quilt or you may do so yourself.

Debbie suggested that we purchase approximately 7 different fabrics--each 1/2 yard.

If you make any extra blocks and wish to donate them, perhaps we could have a quilt to be donated to a worthy cause or we could make some quilts for our project for the year which will be decided in the February meeting.

If you have ideas on a yearly project, please let us know.

If you make a square with any pink, we could take those squares and make a quilt to donate to the Cancer Society for perhaps an auction or raffle.--just a thought.  I'm sort of into pink and black at the moment so I just got that idea.
